PUB 1842, Las Vegas
MICHAEL MINA’s PUB 1842 is an American pub featuring a wide selection of global beers, unique whiskey and hand-crafted provisions. This is a place to have fun, smile and toast the everyday with a full beer in hand – and preferably a shot of whiskey too.
Named for the year Pislner beer was invented, PUB 1842 offers a vast beer list featuring a wide range of American and international brews by the can, bottle or pulled from one of many taps. Beer flights are available so guests may sample a variety of the more than 50 selections that include ales, pilsners, stouts and lagers. PUB 1842 takes a fun turn with classic cocktails as well – focus centers on “Fizzy Lifting Drinks” (carbonated cocktails), house-made infusions, barrel-ages cocktails and seasonal punches. The Soda Popinski, a fizzy lifting drink, is the PUB’s take on the Moscow Mule. A kumquat and grapefruit-infused tequila is highlighted in the Chubacabra and guests can enjoy a grown-up version of "Jungle Juice."
PUB 1842’s playful menu satisfies every comfort-food craving. Succulent starters such as Lobster Corn Dogs, BBQ Chicken Drumsticks, and Duck Spring Rolls are served. No pub would be complete without an extensive burger list and Chef Mina has created a variety of inventive selections of freshly ground, Black Angus beef burgers, cooked over a wood-fired grill such as the Peanut Butter Crunch Burger with bacon jam, potato chips and pimento cheese and the Double Smoked Double Bacon Burger with smoked Gouda and ‘Merican cheese. Steaks, farm-to-table salads, BBQ and hearty entrees round out the menu.
